CDUPR3 (Caleb Du’Pre Hansford) is an American artist, songwriter, producer, musician and entrepreneur. Born Caleb Du´Pre Hansford in New Jersey, he was raised in a musical family. His father is a Pastor, professional Gospel speaker and radio host who introduced Caleb to music at the age of five. Just two years later, he added drums to his repertoire. At age 12, CDUPR3 joined a local youth group, Band 151 where they performed at events such as The World of Life Regional Conference and fundraising benefits such as the New Jersey Tsunami Relief Concert.
CDUPR3 became close friends with Joe Jonas while attending Eastern Christian Middle School in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Jonas shared his own personal journey into the music industry early on with CDUPR3. Caleb credits Jonas and others with heavily influencing his decision to further his career in the world of music. His versatility of sound combined with influences from Hip-Hop, EDM, Pop and RnB flawlessly come together to create his unique and cinematic sound. CDUPR3’s expertise lies in creating a vibrant and captivating sound to bring out the most of his audience’s musical experience. He has performed at The Federal Bar with some of the industry’s top percussionists such as Ron Bruner, Jr., Deshaun Allen and Brian Collier.
A year later while in Miami, CDUPR3 was inspired to focus on his songwriting and hone his production skills. He was invited by Ron Marinari (songwriter for Meghan Trainor, IYAZ, and B. Howard) to a recording session at Plush Studios in Orlando, Florida. During this first session, one of Universal Music Group’s top A&R Executives discovered his talent for creating music. Caleb credits his mentor Louis Pellegrini (Producer, Engineer) of notable acts Xzibit and Curt Chambers for inspiring his distinctive sound.
CDUPR3’s personal passion for rare sneakers lead him to found Raritkicks in 2017. Through his fashion brand, he has been invited to showcase the company’s collection at Art Basel in Miami and has co-hosted events with the rare sneaker DJ Khaled Grateful 3 Retro Jordan. These events had Hip-Hop legends Playboi Carti and Young Jeezy perform while DJ Khaled’s #wethebest team showed support. Through this platform he began to design his own sneaker line that will soon be released.
